Gebrauch
Der Multiplexer und das Netzgerät entsprechen der
EMV-Richtlinie 89/336/EWG für elektromagneti-
sche Verträglichkeit. Das Netzgerät entspricht zu-
sätzlich der Niederspannungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
Warnung: Dieser Multiplexer entspricht den Grenz-
werten der Klasse A. Der Betrieb des Ge-
rätes in Wohngebieten kann zu Störun-
gen des Rundfunk-und Fernsehempfangs
führen. Ergreifen Sie in diesem Fall ge-
eignete Maßnahmen.
Achtung!
Das Netzgerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netz-
spannung (230 V~) versorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb
niemals selbst Eingriffe im Netzgerät vor. Durch
unsachgemäßes Vorgehen besteht die Gefahr
eines elektrischen Schlages. Außerdem erlischt
beim Öffnen des Netzgerätes oder des Multiple-
xers jeglicher Garantieanspruch.

Safety Notes
The multiplexer and the power supply unit corre-
spond to the directive 89/336/EEC for electromag-
netic compatibility. The power supply unit additionally
corresponds to the low voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
Warning: This multiplexer corresponds to the limit
values of class A. The operation of the
unit in residential areas may lead to inter-
ference of the radio and TV reception. In
this case take the necessary steps.
Attention!
The power supply unit is supplied with hazardous
mains voltage (230 V~). Leave servicing to skilled
personnel only. Inexpert handling may cause an
electric shock hazard. Furthermore, any guarantee
claim will expire if the power supply unit or the mul-
tiplexer has been opened.
It is essential to observe the following items:
The multiplexer and the power supply unit are
suitable for indoor use only. Protect the units
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 35 °C).
The heat being generated in the units has to be
removed via air circulation. Therefore, the air
vents at the housings must not be covered.
Do not insert anything into the air vents of the mul-
tiplexer! This could result in a defect of the unit.
