8. Operation

a) Removing the Car Body

The vehicle body is secured with holding clips which must be pulled out from the retaining pins. The vehicle body can
then be lifted off.

b) Installing the Receiver Aerial Cable

Unroll the aerial cable completely and smoothen it carefully.
Then insert the receiver aerial cable (3) into the holder (1)
from the bottom (if necessary, unfasten the holder to insert
the cable more easily).
Run the aerial cable through the aerial tube (2) and stick
the aerial tube into the aerial mount.
c) Inserting Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries in the Transmitter
Open the transmitter's battery compartment and insert either batteries or fully charged rechargeable batteries. Ob-
serve correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-), see label on the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment. Also
observe the enclosed operating instructions for the remote control system.
d) Putting the Transmitter into Operation
Switch on the transmitter and put the trimming for steering and driving into the centre positions.
If the transmitter has a dual rate function, deactivate it or set it to unlimited steering deflection. Please also note the
operating instructions of the remote control system.
e) Inserting the Driving Battery in the Vehicle
Attention!
The driving battery must not be connected to the speed controller yet. First switch on the transmitter, see
chapter 8. c) and d).
Important!
In its basic default setting, this vehicle is exclusively suitable for use with NiMH rechargeable batteries with
6 cells (rated voltage 7.2V).
When using a drive battery with more cells, there is a danger of fire from overheating of the speed control-
ler. Apart from this, the vehicle's drive will be overloaded and damaged by this (e.g. differential). Loss of
guarantee/warranty!
