d) Placer l'accu d'entraînement
Retirez les deux clips de retenue et enlevez l'étai.
Placez ensuite l'accu d'entraînement complètement
chargé de sorte à ce que le câble de l'accu soit orienté vers
l'arrière.
Veillez en plaçant l'étai à ce que les indentations pour les
cellules d'accus soients orientées vers le bas et que l'accu
soit ainsi bien fixé.
Fixez l'étai au moyen de deux clips de fixation.
Attention !
Ne pas connecter encore l'accu d'entraînement au régulateur de vitesse.
e) Connectez l'accu d'entraînement
Avant de connecter l'accu d'entraînement au régulateur de vitesse, mettez d'abord
l'émetteur radiopiloté en service et vérifiez le bon fonctionnement de ce dernier.
Vérifiez ensuite la position du commutateur du régulateur de vitesse. Le commutateur doit se trouver
en position « OFF » (Arrêt).
Afin de prévenir un démarrage des roues et de par là un démarrage incontrôlé du modèle réduit, placez
le modèle réduit de voiture sur une pièce de bois ou similaire, afin que les roues, en cas de défaut,
puissent tourner librement.
Branchez maintenant l'accu d'entraînement au régulateur de vitesse. Comme lors de la recharge de
l'accu d'entraînement, le connecteur MicroCar garantit, ici aussi, l'irréversibilité des pôles.
Faites glisser le régulateur de vitesse en position "ON" (Marche) et vérifiez les fonctions de vitesse et
de guidage de même que les valeurs de réglages nécessaires de votre voiture conformément aux
indications du mode d'emploi de la télécommande.
Si votre moteur électrique ne s'arrête pas bien que le levier de commande pour la fonction de conduite
soit en position médiane, ou s'il réagit de manière incorrecte, procédez alors à une programmation du
régulateur de vitesse : voir section suivante.

d) Inserting the drive battery
Remove both holding clips and remove the cross-tie.
Insert the fully charged battery. The cable of the battery
must be oriented towards the back in the direction of the
rear end.
Make sure when placing the cross-tie that the dents for
the cells of the rechargeable batteries are directed down-
ward and that the battery is hence firmly fastened.
Fasten the cross-tie with two holding clips.
Attention!
The drive battery must not yet be connected to the cruise control.
e) Connecting the drive battery
Before connecting the drive battery to the cruise control, first start up the remote control
and check the correct operation of the transmitter.
Check the position of the switch of the cruise control. The switch must be on the "OFF" position.
In order to avoid a sudden start up of the wheels and hence an uncontrolled start of the model, place
the car model on an appropriate log of wood or the like, to allow the wheels to move freely in case of a
fault.
Connect the drive battery to the cruise control. As with the charging of the drive battery, the MicroCar
connector on the cruise control ensures the correct polarity of the connection.
Slide the switch of the cruise control onto the "ON" position and check the drive-and-steer functions as
well as the necessary trim values of your car following the specifications in the user's manual of you
remote control.
If the electric motor does not stop when you place the operating lever for the drive function in the
center position, or if it reacts incorrectly, proceed to programming the cruise control; see next section.
