12. Cleaning and Maintenance
Maintenance or repair of the remote control, the cruise control and the receiver must only
be carried out in a specialized workshop. Never open these product components or take
them apart.
Improper interference not only results in the license (CE) to expire but also the guarantee/
warrantee, furthermore there is the risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
a) General Notes on Cleaning
Clean the whole vehicle of dust and dirt after driving, use e.g. a long-haired clean brush and a vacuum
cleaner. Compressed air aerosols can also be helpful.
Do not use cleaning aerosols or conventional household cleaners. This might damage the electronics
and cause the discoloration of the synthetic parts or the car body.
A soft cloth, slightly dampened can be used to wipe the car body. Don't rub too hard otherwise there
will be scratch marks or the adhesive labels or the paint will get damaged.
b) Maintenance Works
At certain intervals maintenance works and function controls that ensure trouble-free operation and
roadworthiness for a long time, are to be carried out on the vehicle.
Motor vibrations and shocks during driving can loosen parts and screw fittings. This is why you should
check the tight position of wheel nuts and all screw fittings. The same applies to other parts of the
vehicle.
Check whether the wheels are still seated properly on the rims.
All ball bearings or gears in the vehicle have been provided with suitable lubricants by the manufac-
turer. Normally no re-lubrication is necessary. However, the joints on the vehicle and the wheel bear-
ings require occasional cleaning and re-lubrication with suitable lubricants (available in accessory shops).
The same applies to exchanging drive parts or cog wheels.
It is imperative that you remove excessive oil or fat since this is where dust settles particularly quickly.
You might furthermore soil floors and carpets or pollute the nature.
If worn out or defective parts must be replaced, use original spare parts only to replace them. You can
order them through our customer service.
Make sure that no cables are pinched or caught.
Check the model for damage before each use! If you notice any damages, the car must not be used
anymore and has to be taken out of operation. Bring it to a specialized workshop.

En cas de dommages dus à la non observation de ce mode d'emploi, la validité de la garantie
est annulée ! Nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour d'éventuels dommages
consécutifs !
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour d'éventuels dommages matériels ou corporels
dus à un maniement incorrect ou à la non-observation des consignes de sécurité ! De tels
cas entraînent l'annulation de la garantie.
La garantie ne couvre pas les traces d'usure normales causées par la mise en service (par
ex. pneus lisses) et les dommages causés par un accident (par ex. bras transversal cassé,
carrosserie rayée ou endommagée etc.).
Chère cliente, cher client, ces mesures de sécurité servent non seulement à la protection
du produit mais également à assurer votre propre sécurité et celle d'autres personnes.
Pour cette raison, veuillez lire ce chapître attentivement avant la mise en service du produit!
a) Généralités
• Pour des raisons de sécurité et d'homologation (CE), il est interdit de modifier et/ou de transformer
cet appareil soi-même.
• Ne jamais démonter la tétécommande, le récepteur ou le régulateur de vitesse. Aucune pièce
nécessitant un entretien ne se trouve à l'intérieur du produit.
• Ce produit n'est pas un jouet, maintenez-le hors de la portée des enfants.
• Il faut impérativement veiller à ce que l'appareil ne soit pas mouillé.
• Même si le modèle vous apparaît bien petit, il représente divers danger à cause de la grande vitesse
qu'il peut atteindre. La conclusion d'une assurance de responsabilité civile est recommandée. Si
vous possédez déjà une telle assurance, veuillez alors vous informer si la mise en service du modèle
réduit est couverte par la couverture de l'assurance.
• Ne laissez pas traîner le matériel d'emballage. Il pourrait devenir un jouet dangereux pour les enfants.
• • Au cas où vous auriez des questions auxquelles le mode d'emploi n'a pu répondre, prenez contact
avec notre « service technique » (voir chapître 1 pour les informations relatives à notre service
technique) ou demandez l'avis d'un autre spécialiste.
Il faut apprendre à utiliser et à mette en service les modèles réduits radiopilotés! Si vous
n'avez jamais piloté une telle voiture, veuillez alors être particulièrement prudent et prenez
le temps de vous familiariser aux réactions de la voiture actionnée par la télécommande.
