8. Assembling the model

Before you commence assembly, please read through each individual section. For better understanding, an illustration has been included which represents the
section of assembly described.
Please note that the numbers in the text always refer to the components in the illustration on the right.
Only carry out the works on the sections concerned when you have understood execution correctly and know exactly what you have to observe when working.
Attention!
Despite careful manufacture, the temperature and humidity fluctuations can result in the cover film loosening in some places and developing
wrinkles or bubbles. These wrinkles and bubbles can very easily be removed with a film iron, a normal iron or a hot air gun. To this end, heat the film
in the respective place and press it down with a soft cloth.
Beware of too great heat. Carefully approach the ideal processing temperature of the heat shrink film.
a) Assembly of the wings
First connect the two wing halves (2) as a test with the wing connector
(1) and ensure that the individual parts fit. The wing connector must be
inserted to that the ends of the wing are pointed upwards and the entire
wing has a slight V shape.
However, the heat shrink film must be removed via the conduction opening
for the servo cable (3) on the bottom of the right wing beforehand.
Practical tips:
Mark the center of the wing connector with a thin line (4) so
that you can exactly detect how far the connector has to be
slid into the respective wing half.
When the wing halves fit flush, glue the wing connector into one wing
half. To this end, use PVAC glue or 2-component epoxy resin.
The second wing half is then coated with glue and pushed onto the wing
connector. Excessive glue coming out of the connection points must be
immediately wiped off with a paper towel or cloth.
Until the glue is hardened, the glue connection on the top and bottom
side is secured with a long strip of adhesive tape (5). A retaining clip (6)
ensures ideal gluing of the surface peg.
