7. Information relevant to batteries and rechargeable batteries
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not let batteries/rechargeable batteries lie around openly. There is a risk of batteries being swallowed by children or pets. In such a case, seek instant
medical attention!
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must never be short-circuited, taken apart or thrown into fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries may cause acid burns when coming into contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves.
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of fire and explosion! Only charge rechargeable batteries which are intended for this purpose; use suitable
rechargeable battery chargers.
• When inserting batteries/rechargeable batteries or when connecting a battery pack observe correct polarity (note plus/+ and minus/-).
• If the device is not used for a longer period of time (e.g. storage), remove the inserted batteries (or rechargeable batteries) from the remote control to avoid
damage from leaking batteries/rechargeable batteries.
• Recharge the rechargeable battery about every 3 months, as otherwise, there may a so called deep discharge due to the self-discharge, which can make
rechargeable batteries useless.
• Always exchange the entire set of batteries or rechargeable batteries. Do not mix full batteries/rechargeable batteries with half-full ones Always use batteries
or rechargeable batteries of the same type and manufacturer.
• Never mix batteries and rechargeable batteries! Either use batteries or rechargeable batteries for the remote control transmitter.
• Only charge a LiPo accumulator with a suitable charger. For this purpose, use the sensor cable attached to the accumulator and connect it to a balancer or
equalizer.
• Never charge the enclosed flight accumulator immediately after use. Always leave the rechargeable flight battery to cool down until it has reached room or
ambient temperature again.
Charge intact and undamaged batteries only. If the external insulation of the rechargeable battery is damaged or if the rechargeable battery is
warped or bloated, it must not be charged. In this case there is serious danger of fire and explosion!
• Never damage the envelop of the flight accumulator, do not tear the foil cover, do not prick into the rechargeable battery with sharp objects. There is a risk of
fire and explosion!
• Remove the flight accumulator that is to be charged from the model and place it on a fire-proof support. Observe a distance to flammable objects.
• As the charger as well as the flight accumulator heat up during the charging procedure, it is necessary to ensure sufficient ventilation. Never cover the charger
and the flight accumulator! Of course, this also applies for all other chargers and accumulators.
• Never charge accumulators unsupervised.
• Disconnect the flight accumulator from the charger when the rechargeable battery is fully charged.
• The charger and the accumulator must not get damp or wet. There is danger to life through an electric shock; furthermore, there is danger of fire and explosion
through the rechargeable battery.
