Commissioning of the Model

a) Inserting the Drive Battery
Open the hull deck. The drive battery must be attached to the bottom of the body with hook-and-loop tape (figure 5,
item 1) so that it will be kept secure in its position even in rough operation (figure 5, item 2). The battery should be
mounted as close to the motor as possible for best running properties.
Observe tight fit of the rechargeable battery to ensure free movement of the steering servo in operation as
well.
The maximum possible rechargeable battery size is approx. 110 x 33 x 20 mm (L x W x H).
When installing the rechargeable battery, observe that there must be a distance of at least 5 mm between the re-
chargeable battery and the rudder horn (figure 5, item 3). Otherwise, the steering servo will be blocked.
