Operation of the Model Helicopter

a) Charging the Flight Battery
The flight battery can either be recharged via the trans-
mitter or the included USB cable.
Charging via transmitter:
The battery chute (1) protected against polarity reversal
for the flight battery (2) is located on the bottom of the
transmitter.
Slide the discharged flight battery into the charging
chute and observe that the two guide rails of the flight
battery (3) are directed upward.
When the flight battery is connected to the transmitter
(see figure 4, lower illustration), switch on the transmit-
ter with the function switch (see figure 1, item 6).
The LED display at the transmitter (also see figure 1,
item 10) is lit red first and starts flashing green after
approx. 3 seconds.
Once the charge process is completed, the LED dis-
play at the transmitter is lit green.
Then disconnect the flight battery from the transmitter
immediately and switch off the transmitter again.
Charging via USB cable:
To avoid unnecessary strain on the batteries in the
transmitter, you may also charge the helicopter's flight
battery using the included USB cable.
Connect the discharged flight battery (1) to the plug
connector of the USB charging cable (2) protected
against polarity reversal.
Connect the USB plug (3) of the charging cable to a
computer or notebook.
A red charging LED (4) in the USB plug or the charging
cable is lit during the charging process.
If the red control LED in the USB plug goes out, the
charging process is completed and the charging cable
can be removed from the flight battery and computer.
