Operation of the Model Helicopter

a) Charging the Flight Battery
The helicopter comes with a special lithium battery charg-
er (1) and a plug-in mains unit (2) that can be used to
recharge the flight battery installed in the helicopter.
For this purpose, the balancer connection of the flight bat-
tery (3) on the right side of the model has been routed
outwards.
Connect the plug-in connector of the balancer connection,
which is protected against polarity reversal, to the charg-
ing socket of the charger (4). The two latching tabs of the
plug (5) must point upwards to ensure correct connection.
Then connect the plug-in connector of the plug-in mains
unit (6) to the power supply socket of the charger.
Once the plug-in mains unit is connected to a mains sock-
et, the green LED "POWER" (7) of the charger will light up
first, showing you the correct power supply of the charger.
Briefly thereafter, the red LED "CHARGER" (8) lights up,
signalling charging.
Attention!
Never recharge the flight rechargeable battery
unattended.
When the rechargeable battery is fully charged, the red
LED "CHARGER" will go out.
After this, remove the rechargeable battery from the
charger and then remove the mains unit from the mains
socket.
Figure 5 shows the connection cable of the plug-
in mains unit coiled for photography reasons.
Before the first use, remove the cable tie and
operate the mains unit only with the connection
cable uncoiled.
The plug-in mains unit must only be used in dry,
closed indoor rooms. It must not become damp
or wet. Never touch them with wet or damp
hands. There is the risk of a potentially fatal
electric shock!
