c) Operation of the IR Transmitter

Hold the IR transmitter in both hands and operate the two control levers with your thumbs. It is important that your IR
transmitter diodes are always "targeted" at the model to achieve best signal transfer.

Operation of the Model Helicopter

a) Charging the Helicopter Battery

The flight battery in the helicopter can be recharged via the transmitter or the included USB charging cable.
Charging via transmitter:
Ensure that remote control and helicopter are switched
off (also see section "Switching on the Helicopter").
Slide the charging cable duct cover (see figure 1, item
6) open downwards and remove the charging cable
(1) from the transmitter.
Connect the plug connector (2), which is protected
against polarity reversal, to the charging socket (3) of
the helicopter.
Then switch on the transmitter. The charger LED (see
fig. 1, item 9) and the power LED (see fig. 1, item 3) will
light up.
When the charger LED goes out, the charging process
is completed and the charging cable can be removed
from the helicopter and replaced in the transmitter.
If you want to charge the helicopter's re-
chargeable battery through the transmitter,
the transmitter must not hold any recharge-
able batteries.
The rechargeable battery of the helicopter
cannot be charged due to the too low volt-
age in the transmitter (batteries= 1.5V/cell,
rechargeable batteries = 1.2V/cell)!
