Troubleshooting

Problem
No reading on pressure gauge after opening
the Nitrox cylinder
Gas leaks at the cylinder, first stage or
bypass valve
Positive pressure gauge reading and no gas
supply into the unit
Positive pressure reading but no gas flow at
automatic bypass valve
While diving, the bypass valve dumps gas
often or continuously, or does not perform
properly.
Calibrated gas flow values too low or too high
Directional valves do not respond to

Mouthpiece lever is difficult to turn

Defective pressure

Defective seal or Close cylinder, bleed pressure and check
connection not properly seals. Refer to authorized service technican
secured if necessary.
Regulator defective Replace regulator at authorized service
technican
Blocked gas hose Have hose replaced by authorized service
technican
Defective bypass valve Have valve serviced at authorized service
technican
Bypass valve wrongly Have valve serviced or replaced
tuned or defective by authorized service technican
Flow valves not tuned Take to authorized service technican for
properly or defective tuning or replacement
Defective valves Have valves replaced by authorized service
technican
Sticking valves Check valves and rinse in fresh water.
Replace if necessary at authorized service
technican.
Mouthpiece lever is dirty Get mouthpiece cleaned or
