You must carefully follow all of these hazard indicators to
safely enjoy your DrägerRay. If you do not, you may very
well end up seriously injured or dead.
Warning!
You must have your DrägerRay inspected and
serviced according to the guidelines contained in
this owner's manual by an authorized service and repair
facility USING ONLY authentic Dräger parts. Failure to
do so may lead to a malfunction of the DrägerRay,
resulting in serious injury or death.
Maintenance
Your DrägerRay must be inspected and serviced by an
authorized DrägerRay repair facility at regular intervals.
Both you and the service facility must keep complete
records of all service and repair visits. Pay careful
attention to the sections of this owner's manual which
describe the maintenance interval and procedures.
Service and repair of the DrägerRay must only be carried
out by trained repair technicians authorized to perform
such service or repair work by Dräger. Use only authentic
Dräger parts in the maintenance and repair of the
DrägerRay.
Liability for malfunction
The owner is liable for any malfunction of the equipment if
the equipment has not been maintained by authorized
service and repair facility or the equipment has been
used for purposes other than those designated. The
same applies if other than Dräger components were used
for maintenance or repair, Dräger will not be liable for
damages incurred as the consequence of neglecting the
above instructions. This mixed gas rebreather diving
equipment was developed for sports diving, not for
commercial use. The highest oxygen consumption
suggested by the equipment is 2.5 L/min. If the diver
consistently uses 2.5 L/min. of oxygen then the oxygen
level being circulated will be at a minimum of 17% by
volume.

This unit may be used only after successful
completion of a course accepted by Dräger.
