4.2 Use in a wheelchair accessible vehicle

4.2.1 Start M1, M2, M3, M5, M6
WARNING
Use as a seat for transportation in a wheelchair accessible vehicle
Risk of injury as a result of unauthorised use in a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Whenever possible
while travelling in a wheelchair accessible vehicle, passengers should use the seats and vehicle re-
straint systems already installed in the vehicle. This is the only way to provide optimal protection for
the passengers in case of accident. You can use the product as a seat for transporting passengers
in wheelchair accessible vehicles when using the relevant Ottobock safety components as well as the
appropriate restraint systems.

The product may be used as a seat in a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
WARNING
Risk of accident and injury due to improper use as seat during transportation in a wheelchair ac-
cessible vehicle.
Use in a wheelchair accessible vehicle is not permissible if the following options are used:
- 30° back angle adjustment
- folding back.

4.2.2 Start M4

Unallowable use in a wheelchair accessible vehicle
Risk of serious injury when using the product as a seat
• The product has not been approved by the manufacturer for use as a seat in a wheelchair acces-
sible vehicle.
• Always use the seats installed in the wheelchair accessible vehicle with the corresponding vehicle
restraint systems.
The product may not be used as a seat in a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
