5.9 Knee lever wheel locks

Other types of wheel locks are offered as an option, in addition to the standard knee lever wheel
locks.
Wheel lock for one-handed operation (Fig� 29)
This wheel lock is recommended especially for hemiplegics. It can be activated either on the
right or left side and ensures the safe locking of both rear wheels with a pull-wire system.
INFORMATION
Please note that the wheel lock lever extension must always be attached when releasing or engaging
the wheel lock.
Knee lever wheel lock for user and attendant (not illustrated)
The wheelchair can also be braked by the attendant. The rear wheels remain detachable using
the quick-release axle system.
5.10 Tray (Fig� 30)
Serves as a supporting surface during meals, when working or when playing. The clear mate-
rial allows visibility of the legs and correction of the sitting posture.
