6.11 Adjusting the seat depth (Fig� 66)
Undo the hook and loop connections and remove the back padding/seat cushion.
Loosen all screw connections that connect the central unit to the frame tubes and remove the
screws (Fig. 66). The central unit can then be shifted along the frame tubes. Depending on the
design, 3 different seat depth settings are possible in increments of 3 cm.
INFORMATION
Make sure to firmly retighten all screws and nuts after making adjustments. The proper torque is 8 Nm.
Fasten the hook and loop attachment again between the back padding and the seat upholstery.
6.12 Adjusting the back height (Fig� 67)
The back height is adjustable by 7.5 cm. The back tube which is integrated into the rear frame
allows for the adjustment of the back height in increments of 2.5 cm.
To do so, remove all screws from the vertical attachment device of the central unit (Fig. 67).
Set the desired back height.
INFORMATION
Make sure to firmly retighten all screws and nuts after making adjustments. The proper torque for screw
connection A is 8 Nm and for screw connection B (rear wheel adapter) 10 Nm (see Fig. 67). When
using the maximal back height setting, an additional screw connection with plastic spacers (included
in the 481D53=ST170 Conversion Kit for back tube, standard) has to be mounted in the uppermost
bore hole of the central unit (Fig. 67, item C).
