5.3 Transport wheels (Fig� 23)
CAUTION
Accident risk. Please note that once the rear wheels are removed, the wheel locks are no longer func-
tional!
With the rear wheels removed, the wheelchair can still be used as a rolling base; this makes it
possible to manoeuvre through narrow passages (e.g. narrow bathroom doorways or airplane
aisles).
The transport wheels have to be mounted to the rear wheel adapters. Remove the attachment
screws of the rear wheel adapter one after the other, replace them with the longer M6x80 oval
head screws provided and tighten the screw connections with the hexagon nuts provided (Fig. 23,
item A). The correct torque for the screw connection is 10 Nm.
Now attach the transport wheels and spacer sleeves provided to the protruding screw ends and
secure the transport wheels with the cap nuts provided (Fig. 23, item B).
Finally screw the plastic brackets to the central unit (Fig. 23, item C) using the cap nuts/spacer
washers provided.
5.4 Crutch holder with hook and loop strap (Fig� 24)
Allows crutches to be attached to the wheelchair.
