m) Selecting the access mode

There are two ways for the combination lock to recognise a code:
• Manual access mode

Choosing codes with different lengths reduces the likelihood of unauthorised people gaining
access by attempting to guess the code.
• "Auto entry" mode = Automatic access mode

The combination lock checks the code automatically after entry (e.g. 5 digits). If the user code
is correct, the combination lock will activate the corresponding output.
This mode can be used to make access quicker when you need to grant access to many
people.
Important!
All codes (master code, user code, superuser code, user code, duress code) must
have the same number of digits (e.g. 5 digits).
The codes will not work if they have different numbers of digits.
Delete all previous settings before switching from manual to automatic access mode
(see section 12. b) for details). After switching to automatic mode, change the master
code to the desired length (e.g. 5 digits). You can then complete the other settings.
Proceed as follows to select the access mode:
• The combination lock must be in programming mode (see section 12. a) for details).
• Enter programming code
• Select the desired function.
Manual access mode (default setting)
Automatic access mode = "Auto entry" mode
