j) Door alarm
If you connect a door sensor (with NC contact, opener) to the corresponding input on the combi-
nation lock, you can use the lock to monitor whether the door is open or closed (see description
of terminal 14 in section 6).
If someone opens the door without entering a valid code (e.g. without using the door opener that
is connected to terminal 12), the combination lock will trigger an alarm. The alarm will sound
for 60 seconds and the "ALM OUT" output will be activated (see description of terminal 10 in
section 6).
This output can be used to trigger an alarm system in the event of a break-in attempt.
To stop the alarm before the 60 seconds has elapsed, enter a valid user code for
output #1.
Proceed as follows:
• The combination lock must be in programming mode (see section 12. a) for details).
• Enter programming code
• Select the desired function.
Turn off door alarm (default setting)
Turn on door alarm
• Press the button to confirm your entry. The combination lock will beep twice and the mid-
dle LED will flash two times to indicate that the setting has been saved.
