unsuitable choice of machine for the terrain,

Insufficient knowledge of the soil conditions (e.g. slope),

improper use as a towing vehicle.
Preparing the machine
•
Always wear non-slip, sturdy work shoes and protective gloves during use.
•
Inspect the work area thoroughly and remove all objects that could be thrown away or damage
the cutting tool or motor (e.g. stones, branches, wire, bones).
CAUTION: Fire hazard! Gasoline is highly flammable:
•
Only store fuel in approved containers.
•
Only refuel outdoors and never near an open fire or with the engine running.
•
Refuel before starting the engine. Never remove the fuel filler cap and do not top up with fuel
when the engine is running or hot.
•
Close the tank cap carefully after refueling.
•
Replace defective silencers immediately.
•
Check the condition of the battery regularly. If the housing, cover or terminals are damaged,
have them professionally repaired or repositioned.
•

safe filling.

start the engine. Move the

spilled area and avoid any
sources of ignition until the
fuel has evaporated.
