commercial, trade or industrial use. A guarantee or liability is excluded if the product is used in such
areas of application or comparable activities .
Do not allow anyone who has not fully read and understood these instructions to install, commission,
adjust or operate the product. This product is intended exclusively for well-insulated rooms or for non-
permanent use.

Safety instructions

Read all safety instructions, operating instructions, illustrations and technical information supplied with
the product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or damage. The operator
is obliged to use the product as intended, to pay attention to the surroundings and to take special care
of other persons, especially children. Always adhere to the specified safety guidelines.

22. SAFETY REGULATIONS

WARNING! Read these operating instructions carefully. Familiarize yourself with the controls
and the safe handling of the appliance.

Do not allow children or persons who are not familiar with these instructions to use the
appliance. Please note that local regulations may stipulate a minimum age for operators.
•
Never mow when people - especially children or pets - are in the vicinity.
•
Do not use the device if you are tired or in poor health or if you are under the influence of
medication, drugs, alcohol or other substances that may impair your ability to react or your
judgment.

The operator is responsible for accidents or damage caused by himself or the appliance. Always
check the working environment for possible hazards - especially on slopes or on uneven,
slippery or unstable surfaces - and take all necessary precautions for your safety and that of
others.

Do not allow children or other persons to ride on the machine. This can lead to injuries or
impair safe operation.
•
If the machine is sold or loaned out, make sure that the new user has read and understood
these operating instructions in full.

The appliance is equipped with safety devices (e.g. microswitches) that must not be tampered
with or removed. Failure to do so will invalidate the warranty and the manufacturer will not
accept any liability. Check the function of all safety devices before each use.
