On cutting units with several blades, turning one blade can move others unintentionally - be
careful!
•
The noise and vibration values stated in these instructions are maximum values. Poor
maintenance, high speed or damaged cutting tools can increase these values. Wear hearing
protection, take breaks and carry out regular maintenance.
Mowing on slopes - take special care:
•
Avoid starting or stopping abruptly on slopes.
•
Engage the drive slowly and always leave one gear engaged when riding downhill.
•
Drive at a reduced speed on slopes and in bends.
•
Pay attention to uneven floors, hollows or hidden obstacles.
•
Only mow upwards and downwards - never across the slope.
•
When changing direction, make sure that the wheels on the slope side do not hit any obstacles
- this can lead to slipping or tipping over.
When pulling loads or using heavy attachments:
•
Only use approved coupling points
•
Limit load
•
No heavy steering - especially when reversing.
Before leaving the machine or during maintenance:
•
Switch off the cutting unit / PTO shaft,
•
Engage idle,
•
Apply the parking brake,
•
Switch off the engine,
•
Remove the ignition key,
•
Wait until all moving parts have come to a complete standstill.
These measures are particularly necessary:
•
If the machine is left unattended or the seat is vacated,
•
Before removing blockages or cleaning the discharge chute,
•
Before maintenance or cleaning work,
•
After contact with foreign bodies - check the machine thoroughly and have it repaired if
necessary.
Switch off the engine and stop the blade:
•
Before refueling,
•
When installing/removing the grass catcher,
•
When attaching or removing the side discharge,
•
Before setting the cutting height (if not operable from the seat).
WARNING - In case of emergency or malfunction:
•
Switch off the engine immediately,
•
Bring the machine into a safe position,
•
In the event of injury or danger: take emergency measures and get help,
•
Carefully remove foreign bodies or dangerous residues.
