Light switch (see Fig. 13.9)
On both models, the headlights can be switched on manually using the corresponding switch. Models
with an integrated display also have an automatic light function: as soon as it gets dark, the
headlights switch on automatically.
MOWING GRASS
This is how you start mowing:
1. Set the throttle lever to "FAST" (maximum engine speed).
2. Move the cutting unit to the highest position.
3. Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before switching on the mower.
4. Only engage the mower on short lawns - avoid stony ground or extremely high grass.
IMPORTANT:
If the mower is activated when the grass is too high, this can lead to a sudden drop in speed, engine
standstill or increased clutch wear.
5. Start the ride slowly and carefully on the lawn.
6. Adjust the cutting height and driving speed to the conditions of the lawn - especially with
regard to the height, density and moisture of the grass.
LEVER FOR ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT
This lever is used to raise or lower the blade deck to set the desired cutting height of the
grass. The lever has seven positions, which are marked "1" to "6" on the label and allow
cutting heights of approx. 30 mm to 90 mm.
GRASS CATCH BASKET
The tilt lever is used to tilt and empty the grass catcher - for easy and convenient handling by the
operator.
NOTE:
The grass catcher may only be emptied when the cutting unit is disengaged.
Otherwise, the engine will be switched off automatically.
