Maintenance measure

Notes:
1. The complete maintenance intervals and instructions can be found in the engine manual.
2. At the first sign of a malfunction, contact customer service immediately.
3. Maintenance work that goes beyond the normal scope of use should only be carried out by
our authorized workshop or a qualified service partner.
4. General lubrication of all joints should also always be carried out before long periods of
machine downtime.
MOTOR
Always follow the instructions in the engine manual.
For draining the engine oil:
•
Unscrew the oil drain plug.
•
When reinserting the stopper, make sure that the seal is correctly seated and undamaged.
BATTERY
Regular and careful maintenance is essential for reliable battery performance.
If a battery charger is included in the scope of delivery, only use this device for charging.
The battery must be fully charged:
•
before the first start-up after purchase,
•
after approx. 20 engine starts,
•
before longer downtimes,
•
before recommissioning after a long period of non-use.
Please also read the charging instructions in the enclosed battery manual carefully.
If the battery is not charged correctly or the charging procedure is disregarded, permanent damage to
the battery elements may occur.
An empty battery should be recharged as soon as possible.
IMPORTANT:
Only use a battery charger with a constant voltage for charging.
Other charging systems can irreversibly damage the battery.
