GAS LEVER (see Fig. 13.1)
The throttle controls the engine speed and is provided with a symbol field showing the following
positions:
"CHOKE" - for the cold start (enrichment of the fuel-air mixture)
"SLOW" - for minimum engine speed
"FAST" - for maximum engine speed
Notes on operation:
•
The "CHOKE" position may only be used briefly for cold starts.
•
When traveling between different areas of use, the lever should be set to an intermediate
position between "SLOW" and "FAST".
•
The "FAST" position is required for mowing to ensure optimum cutting performance.
STEERING WHEEL (see Fig. 13.2)
The steering wheel is used to control the front wheels and enables the machine to change direction in
a targeted manner.
START/STOP KNOB FOR MOWER (see Fig. 13.3)
The start/stop button for the mower is located on the right-hand console in front of the ignition lock.
This switch controls the electric blade clutch:
•
To switch on the blades: Pull the switch upwards
•
To switch off the blades: Press the switch downwards
KEY LOCK (see Fig. 13.4)
The ignition lock is operated by a key and has three switch positions:
"OFF" - All functions are switched off.
"ON" - All electrical systems are activated.
"START" - Activates the starter motor and starts the engine.
BRAKE PEDAL (see Fig. 13.5)
The brake pedal is located on the front left of the tread and is used for braking:
•
Execution of sudden stops,
•
Activation of the parking brake.
