PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
•
In order to obtain new measurements (Para. 7.5), select to repeat all the operations starting from the preliminary ones.
TEST FOR TOE-IN CURVE
Following the illustrations that appear on the screen, the test for the toe-in curve can be adjusted as follows:
•
CHASSIS DIAGNOSIS
Select to display the "Chassis diagnosis" (graphic-geometric representation of the axles of the vehicle on which the operator is
working - Para. 7.14.1).
•
SHOW VEHICLE SELECTION
Opens the vehicle selection page (Para. 7.4.2) and allows for a different vehicle to be selected.
•
CASTER ADJUSTMENT
Select to adjust the caster values (during the front chassis adjustment, they are normally "frozen" - Para. 7.13).
•
TEST DRIVE
Select to open the "Test Drive" procedure (Para. 7.14.2).
Tap this key on the main "Diagnosis and Adjustment" page (Para. 7.14) to perform some auxiliary
operations or to be able to repeat some steps of the program if they were not satisfactory or not
performed at all.
The following page opens.
Tap this key to:
•
adjust the vehicle;
•
place the relative tool under the front axle;
•
adjust the front partial tips as envisaged by the manufacturer;
•
remove the tool from the axle.
The program will go back to the adjustment step
Turn off the vehicle engine and tap this key to return to the Diagnosis and Adjustment summary (Para.
7.14).
