Clean and disinfect the reusable components of the disposable secretion container system regularly.

The "Bag" external container and the connecting tube must be replaced when changing patients!
The holder for the "Bag" external container can remain with the device when changing patients. The
description of the cleaning and disinfection process can be found in chapter 10.2.
RESTRICTIONS
Replace the "Bag" external container and the connecting hose if they show
WITH
visible damage or if its functions are affected or when changing patients.
PREPARATION
Replace the "Bag" external container after no more than three months when it
is used on one patient.
The accessories must be replaced immediately in case of severe soiling with
dried or encrusted secretions.
PREPARATION
Remove the disposable secretion container system and disassemble the

components of the system as described in chapter 9.2 up to and including
section 6.
Dispose of the "OneWay" suction bag.
CLEANING
Clean off visible soiling on the "Bag" external container with a moist but not
wet lint-free cloth depending on the degree of soiling. Moisten the cloth with
plain water (< 40°C).
Clean the surface of the connecting tube with a moist, lint-free cloth.
The "Bag" external container can be machine-washed and can be heat-
sterilised after washing.
