Information on the internal bacteria filter and charcoal filter in the
device
The internal bacteria filter in the devices is a self-sealing bacteria filter and is effective against bacteria
and viruses.
The exhaust compartment of the devices has a filter to neutralise unwanted odour-causing substances
from the device exhaust. This filter is a thin fabric coated with activated charcoal. The activated
charcoal in the fabric collects the odour-causing particles from the exhaust and neutralises them. This
effectively reduces the spread of odours.
Observe the replacement intervals listed in chapter 11.

Information on the disposable secretion container for the
DYSSUCTION
The disposable secretion container is a container with a connected suction tube. A bacteria filter, a
charcoal filter and gelling agent are integrated into the disposable secretion container.
The disposable secretion container with integrated suction tube is a single-use product
and must be discarded after use.
BACTERIA FILTER, CHARCOAL FILTER AND OVERFLOW PREVENTION
The hydrophobic bacteria filter integrated into the disposable secretion container is effective against
bacteria and viruses. This integrated filter prevents oversuction in the event of an application error or a
full container. If liquid reaches the filter, suction is no longer possible and the display shows the
"system closed canister full" error message. The suction process is interrupted. The disposable
secretion container must be changed.
The activated charcoal filter in the disposable secretion container prevents the spread of odours.
The device has an internal filter in addition to the external filter integrated into the secretion container.
The internal filter is a self-sealing bacteria filter and is effective against bacteria and viruses.
GELLING AGENT
Disposable secretion containers that are filled with suctioned material can be safely transported and
discarded without leaks by using the gelling agent and closing the tube clamp. Regardless of the
suction intervals, the suctioned liquid is thoroughly gelled after an average gel time of 2-5 minutes
(depending on the consistency of the suctioned materials).
