8. Confirm your selection with the
PATIENT MODE
The patient mode can be selected when starting the device. In the patient mode the patient runtime
can be viewed and reset and the "System closed" alarm can be enabled or disabled.
The "System closed" alarm is disabled by default on delivery. It is used to monitor the flow of
secretions and to display blockages in the suction tube or the suction attachment. If the alarm is
manually activated, the status is saved for the following treatments.
Proceed as follows to select patient mode:
