Select the STEAM sub-
programme. Press Auto to start
the programme.
If there is no more water in the bowl, you will hear a beeping sound.
You can grease the bottom of the steamer basket before adding your ingredients to prevent
food from sticking.
For the best results :
- do not overload the basket and/or tray so that the steam can circulate freely;
- cut all the ingredients to the same size.
If you use the tray, place the ingredients with the longest cooking time in the lower basket.
Do not put more than 0.5 L of water in the bowl, particularly when steaming fish, as certain
types of fish cause the water to foam.
Risk of burns :
stay out of reach of the steam and handle all parts (bowl, lid, etc.)
and hot food with care. Make sure the cap opening is not obstructed by a tea towel
(for example) or food in the bowl. The steam must be able to escape to prevent
pressure build-up.
Steam :
make sure the holes in the basket are not obstructed so that steaming will be even.
