5.4 Faults
Faults affecting operation of the machine may occur in the course of normal working FALCO EVO 628 S (IT) V8. The
following table lists possible faults not requiring expert attention.

To take action as quickly as possible it is important to quote the details on the rating plate (label on back of
FALCO EVO 628 S (IT) V8) and the nature of the problem when calling.

Work on the electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic system is only ever to be performed by appropriately trained and
briefed personnel.

Consult customer service if the problem persists.
Problem
Assembly tool
The needle does not have sufficient force to lift off
the tire and only moves slowly
rim-chuck plate/rails/rim-chuck claw
Rim-chuck plate does not rotate in either direction.
Rim-chuck plate turns in counter-clockwise
direction.
Clamping plate transfers insufficient
torque (no force).
Rim not correctly held in position by guide rails.
Rim not correctly held in position by clamping jaws. Make sure the grippers are in proper working order. Replace if worn.
Unseating unit
The unseating unit does not have enough force to
remove the wheel.
Pressure gauge
No air is discharged from the inflation hose when
the pedal is pressed.

Solution
R Check whether the machine is properly connected to the compressed air
system.
R Check that the system pressure is not below the minimum machine
operating pressure value.
R Set the machine operating pressure at the filter assembly to the values
recommended by the manufacturer.
R Check that the mains voltage coincides with the voltage specified on the
rating plate.
R Check that the mains connector is properly plugged in.
Seek the aid of a qualified electrician or appropriately trained individual.
R Check that the mains voltage coincides with the voltage specified on the
rating plate.
R Check for proper connection of the phases in the connector (to be done by
qualified electrician only).
R Check whether the machine is properly connected to the compressed air
system.
R Check that the system pressure is not below the minimum machine
operating pressure value.
R Set the machine operating pressure at the filter assembly to the values
recommended by the manufacturer.
R Check whether the machine is properly connected to the compressed air
