Positioning the vertical mast
1. Use a cutter to remove the safety cords that hold the
mounting head on the chuck-rim plate.

2. Place one hand on the cover (at the top end of the
mast) and press downwards.
3. With the other hand, use a cutter to remove the
adhesive strip and take out the iron bar between the
arm and the mounting head.
Danger!
On account of the spring tension the vertical
mast can suddenly jump out of its seat and
pose a serious risk to the operator.

Exercise extreme caution.

4. Slowly disconnect the compressed air tank.

Compressed air connection
1. Connect the FALCO EVO 628 S (IT) V8 to the
compressed air supply.

With a bayonet catch it is sufficient to move the
compressed air hose to the connection of the filter
unit and fasten the bayonet catch.

2. Set a pressure of 8 – 10 bar.
First pull the pressure reducer (red knurled
screw) upwards, then turn to set a pressure of
8 – 10 bar .
Check the pressure on the pressure gage.

The scope of delivery also includes a quick-release
coupling with 1/4" thread to enable a compressed
air connection to be made even if no bayonet catch
is available.
3. Use a 14 mm wrench to remove the swivel
connection at the filter unit.

4. Pull out the swivel connection and attach the quick-
release connection. Then tighten with a 14 mm
wrench
!
Fit the original seal back in position.
