User information
2.1
Important notes
Important information on copyright, liability and
warranty provisions, as well as on equipment users
and company obligations, can be found in the separate
manual "Important notes on and safety instructions
for Sicam Tire Equipment". These instructions must
be carefully studied prior to start-up, connection and
operation of the FALCO EVO 628 S (IT) V8 and must
always be heeded.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
The FALCO EVO 628 S (IT) V8 satisfies the
requirements of the EMC directive 2014/30/EU.
The FALCO EVO 628 S (IT) V8 is a class B product as
per EN 61 326.

Product description
3.1
Intended use
The FALCO EVO 628 S (IT) V8 is a machine for fitting
and removing car tires and – with the use of the
appropriate accessories – also motorcycle tires.

The FALCO EVO 628 S (IT) V8 is to be used
exclusively for this purpose and solely for the range
of applications specified in these instructions. Any
other purpose is not consistent with the intended
use and is therefore not permissible.

The manufacturer does not accept any liability for
possible damage arising from improper use.
3.2
Requirements
FALCO EVO 628 S (IT) V8 must be placed in a well-
lit working area, on a level floor made of concrete or
similar material and firmly anchored to the ground. A
compressed air connection and power connection are
also required.
3.3
Functional description
The principal functions of the FALCO EVO 628 S (IT) V8
components listed above are described in the following:
R
Bead-breaker arm actuated by hand lever for
unseating the tire from the rim. The bead breaker
arm is moved by pneumatic cylinder. Its movement
can be set in 2 positions to bisect the tire width.
This allows the bead-breaker blade to be opened
further for unseating particularly broad tires.

Mounting column consisting of a tiltable column that
holds the required components for mounting the tire
on and removing the tire from the rim. Horizontally
extendable arm and extendable vertical mast with
securing knob, mounting head for removing the tire
from and mounting the tire back on the rim without
the aid of the bead lifter.
R
Clamping plate for securing and turning (counter-
clockwise and clockwise) the rim. The clamping
plate is driven pneumatically by way of two cylinders
and has four rails with clamping jaws for fixing the
rims in position on the inside and outside.
