Electrical connection
DANGER - Risk of electric shock in the
absence of grounding, a faulty ground
connection or a faulty power connector.
Faulty phase, neutral conductor or grounding
cable connections may cause electric shock,
cardiac arrest and death!
¶
Work on the electrical installation or
electrical equipment may only be carried
out by a qualified electrician or by trained
personnel under the direction and
supervision of a qualified electrician.
¶
Also minor work on the electrical
equipment may only be carried out by
qualified and trained personnel.
¶
Only connect to the power supply if the
supply voltage available corresponds to
the rated voltage specified on the rating
plate.
¶
Ensure proper grounding before making
the electrical connection.
!
The device must be connected to a standard
electrical system that is equipped with a residual-
current-operated circuit breaker with a wire cross-
section of at least 3 mm conforming to European
standards. The customer is responsible for providing
fuse protection for the power connector.
!
A two-pole type "C" automatic circuit breaker must
be used to protect the power connection. Single-
pole automatic circuit breakers are not allowed.
!
Observe the temperature and ambient operating
conditions listed in the "Technical data" section.
!
A motor starter (or similar protective device) must
be installed to protect against short-circuits.
