6 HANDLING AND POSITIONING
Install the unit by providing a base at least 15 cm high and in any case sufficient to isolate the unit from the ground and from any element
present in the immediate vicinity that could affect the fans, the coil or the condensate discharge, causing the unit to malfunction.
Size the height of the base on which to install the unit considering the height of the maximum build-up of snow in winter. The build-up of
snow must not exceed the height of the base of the unit.
It is forbidden to install two or more units in the same direction, one in front of the other or in any case in positions where the air outlet
from the fans of the unit behind can reach the side of the finned coil of the unit in front. If necessary, provide barriers to be interposed in
line with the clearances already presented.
In the case of installation in locations with high winds, provide windbreaks to be installed on the side of the machine affected by the
prevailing winds in order to ensure the unit clearances illustrated below:
