10 MAINTENANCE

10.3 Description of the operations

Operation description
Tighten the electrical connections and replace any worn or damaged cables
Check the cooling circuit for leaks with varying frequency, depending on the equivalent amount of CO

Check the unit power supply voltages
Check the compressor power supply voltages
Check the fan power supply voltages
Functional check of the antifreeze heaters of the exchangers and, if applicable, the condensate drain pan
Check the operation and calibration of minimum and maximum safety pressure switches (where fitted)
Check the pressure probe reading, calibration
Check the noise level of the fan bearings
Maintenance and cleaning of finned coils
Check for any hydraulic circuit leaks
Check the horizontal positioning of the unit
Check for rust on the cooling circuit, especially the pressure vessels. Apply appropriate surface protection
if necessary
General unit cleaning
Vent the water circuit and heat exchangers (the combination of fluid and air reduces performance and can
cause corrosion)
Measure overheating temperature value
Measure subcooling temperature value
Measure compressor discharge gas temperature value
Measure low pressure value
Measure high pressure value
Measure fan absorption, 3 phases (L1, L2, L3) or single phase where single-phase fans present
Measure compressor absorption, 3 phases (L1, L2, L3)
Measurement of the absorption of the pump on the machine, 3 phases (L1, L2, L3) (if present)
Check the flow of water to the exchangers
Measure evaporator and condenser inlet and outlet water temperature where fitted
Check dielectric rigidity
