Optional templates

In addition to the essential templates required for describing the transducer, the
IEEE1451.4 standard also provides for optional templates which allow the opportunity to
store further information about the transducer in the TEDS memory. Further optional
templates can be provided manufacturer-specific by HBM.
HBM template: Unit Conversion
The template allows you to convert the unit specified by the IEEE template to a different
one. To do this, enter the desired unit and the (linear) conversion factor. The table shows
an example of conversion from Pa to bar.
