HBM template: Frequency/Pulse Sensor
Along with the physical and electrical unit, this template defines the display resolution to
be used: 24 bits, 16 bits or 8 bits (SINGLE Precision). You also have to choose, for exam­
ple, between the variants "Frequency" or "Counter". For example, a sensor that emits
pulses during one revolution can be defined either as an angle of rotation sensor (count­
ing pulses) or as a speed sensor (measuring frequency).
