ALWAYS discharge the filter capacitors in power supplies and disconnect the power when you
perform resistance or diode tests.
ALWAYS turn off the power and disconnect the leads before you open the covers to replace the
fuse or the batteries.
Recommended fuses and manufacturer part numbers:
0.5A/1000V = SIBA 70-172-40
NEVER connect the unit's leads across a voltage source while the function switch is in current,
resistance, or diode mode. Doing so can damage the unit.
NEVER operate the product unless the battery and fuse covers are in place and fastened
securely.
To prevent damage, always use and store your unit in appropriate environments as below.
