Anschluß des Generators an das Fahrzeugkühlsystem
In vielen Fällen kann der Panda auch problemlos an das Original-
Fahrzeugkühlsystem (Fahrzeug-Antriebsmotor) angeschlossen wer-
den. Der Aufwand ist besonders gering, wenn der Kühler des Fahrzeug-
motors mit einem elektrischen Lüfter ausgerüstet ist. Falls das nicht der
Fall ist, muß vor den Kühler zusätzlich ein ausreichend bemessener
elektrischer Lüfter installiert werden, der über ein Thermostat anzu-
steuern ist. Die Kühlwasserleitungen werden über Y-Stücke direkt in die
vom Motor zum Kühler führenden Leitungen eingeleitet.
Diese Installation ist vergleichbar mit dem Einbau einer zusätzlichen
Warmwasserheizung, sofern diese den Motorkühlkreislauf mit ein-
bezieht. Im Zweifelsfalle sollte die Installation mit dem Fahrzeughersteller
abgestimmt werden. Falls Einwände erhoben werden, kann der Gene-
rator u.U. auch über einen Wärmetauscher an das Fahrzeugkühlsystem
angeschlossen werden.

Connection of the Generator to the Vehicle Cooling System
The Panda can in many cases be connected to the original vehicle system
(vehicle-drive motor), without a problem. The amount of time required to
do this is minimal, if the vehicle radiator is fitted with an electric fan. Should
that not be the case, an electric fan is to be additionally placed in front
of the radiator, which is monitored by a thermostat. The coolant pipes are
connected directly with the pipes leading from the motor to the radiator.
This installation is comparable with the installation of an additional hot
water heating system, as long as this includes the motor cooling system.
The manufacturer should be consulted in cases of doubt. The generator
can be fitted to the vehicle cooling system via a heat exchanger, should
there be any objections.
