MOTOR DREHT BEIM ANLASSVORGANG NICHT
Ursache:
Batteriehauptschalter ist abgeschaltet.
Abhilfe:
Stellung des Batteriehauptschalters prüfen, ggfls. einschalten (wenn
vorhanden).
Ursache:
Batteriespannung nicht ausreichend.
Abhilfe:
Kabelanschluß auf festen Sitz und auf Korrosion prüfen.
Ursache:
Störung im Anlaßstrom.
Abhilfe:
Bei normalem Startvorgang fällt bei vollen Batterien die Spannung auf
max. 11V ab. Fällt diese nicht ab, ist die Leitung unterbrochen. Fällt sie
weiter ab, ist die Batterie sehr entladen.

Ursache:
Abstellhubmagnet öffnet nicht.
Abhilfe:
Elektrische Ansteuerung bzw. Kabelverbindung prüfen (siehe DC
Schaltplan: Relais K2, Sicherung).
Ursache:
Kraftstofförderpumpe arbeitet nicht.
Abhilfe:
Kraftstoff-Filteranlage und Kraftstofförderpumpe prüfen, ggfls. reini-
gen.
Ursache:
Kraftstoffmangel.
Abhilfe:
Kraftstoffvorrat prüfen.
Ursache:
Kein Vorglühen der Glühkerzen.
Abhilfe:
Vorglühen der Glühkerzen vor dem Start. Überprüfen der Glühkerzen.
Ursache:
Luft in der Einspritzanlage.
Abhilfe:
Kraftstoffleitungen auf Dichtheit prüfen.
Entlüften des Kraftstoffsystems, bis blasenfreier Kraftstoff an der
Rücklaufleitung austritt (siehe Kap. "Entlüftung des Kraftstoffsystems").
Ursache:
Kraftstoffilter verstopft.
Abhilfe:
Filter erneuern.

Ursache:
Batteriespannung nicht ausreichend.
Abhilfe:
Batterie prüfen.
Ursache:
Motor hat Lagerschaden oder Kolbenfresser.

Reparatur durch Kubota-Service (s. Kubota Motor-Handbuch).

DIESEL MOTOR FAILS TO START
Cause:
Starter battery switched "OFF".
Solution:
Check position of battery switch and switch "ON" (if installed).
Cause:
Starter battery voltage insufficient (battery too weak).
Solution:
Inspect battery terminals and cables for a good electrical connection
(Inspect against corrosion, tattered wires, etc.).
Cause:
Starting current disrupted.
Solution:
During the normal starting process, the battery voltage drops to 11V
with a fully charged battery. If the voltage does not drop during starting,
the electrical connection is faulty. If the battery voltage drops lower than
11V, then the battery has been discharged.
STARTER IS TURNING MOTOR, BUT FAILS TO START
Cause:
Fuel inlet solenoid valve not opening.
Solution:
Check wire connections and circuitry to solenoid valve. (ref. DC wiring
diagram: Relay K2, Fuse)
Cause:
Fuel pump not working.
Solution:
Check fuel-filter and pump: clean if necessary.
Cause:
Lack of fuel.
Solution:
Check fuel supply.
Cause:
Glow-plugs not working correctly.
Solution:
Check glow plugs and heating time.
Cause:
Too much air in fuel lines.
Solution:
Test fuel system for leakage.
Bleed air from fuel system (refer to section "Air-bleedung of the Fuel
System").
Cause:
Fuel-filter blocked.
Solution:
Replace fuel filter.
MOTOR DOES ACHIEVE ENOUGH SPEED DURING STARTING
PROCESS
Cause:
Starter battery voltage insufficient.
Solution:
Check battery.
Cause:
Damaged bearing(s) piston (seized).
Solution:
Repairs need to be carried out by Kubota-Service (refer to Kubota
motor-manual).
