Die Kühlwasserumlaufmenge muß so groß ausgelegt sein, daß die
Temperaturdifferenz zwischen Eingang zum Motor und Ausgang vom
Motor (unter Vollast) nicht über 12°C liegt. Falls ein wassergekühlter
Vorschalldämpfer integriert ist, darf die Differenz auch bis zu 17K
betragen.
Die Schläuche sind so zu verlegen, daß Knicke scharfe Biegungen und
sonstige Widerstände vermieden werden. Ggfls. muß der Kühl-
wasservolumenstrom gemessen werden. Folgende Werte sind minde-
stens erforderlich:
Erforderliche Kühlwassermengen:
Panda 4500 ............................... min ca.10 l/min
Panda 8000 - 9000 ................... ca.16 bis 22 l/min
Panda 12000 - 14000 ............... ca.24 bis 28 l/min
Panda 18 - 24 ........................... ca.32 bis 38 l/min
Panda 30 - 32 ........................... ca.40 bis 45 l/min
Panda 42 - 65 ........................... ca.50 bis 60 l/min
Je größer die Menge des umlaufenden Kühlwassers ist, um so geringer
ist die Temperaturdifferenz. Wenn der erforderliche Kühlwasser-
Volumenstrom nicht erreicht wird, kann durch Verändern des Riemen-
scheibendurchmessers an der Pumpe die Drehzahl der Pumpe und damit
die Leistung erhöht werden.
ACHTUNG!
Der Druck im Kühlwasserkreis darf 0,7 bar nicht überschreiten!
Aufbau und Lage des Radiatorkühlers
Der Radiatorkühler kann abseits vom Generator an einer gut belüfteten
Stelle montiert werden. Dabei muß darauf geachtet werden, daß die
Luftausströmung des Kühlers in voller Fläche frei ist. Turbulenzen sind
zu vermeiden. Hier konkurriert sehr oft das ästhetische Empfinden der
Karosseriegestalter mit den technischen Erfordernissen.
Der Kühler kann stehend (vertikal) oder liegend (horizontal) montiert
werden. Es ist zu berücksichtigen, daß die Luft über dem Lüftermotor
angesaugt wird.
Das beste Ergebnis wird erreicht, wenn der Kühler waagerecht auf dem
Fahrzeugdach montiert werden kann.

There must be a large amount of water circulating to ensure that the
difference in temperature when compared to the temperature of the
water leaving the generator (full load) does not exceed 12°C. The
difference may also amount to 17K if a pre-silencer is installed.
The hoses must be so laid out that knots and other obstructions are
avoided. If necessary, the amount of coolant must be measured. As a
minimum the following values are necessary:
Essential coolant amounts:
Panda 4500 ............................... approx.10 l/min
Panda 8000 - 9000 ................... approx.22 l/min
Panda 12000 - 14000 ............... approx.28 l/min
Panda 18 - 24 ........................... approx.35 l/min
Panda 30 - 32 ........................... approx.40 l/min
Panda 42 - 65 ........................... approx.50 l/min
The greater the amount of coolant circulating, the lower the difference
in temperature. If the necessary cooling performance cannot be achieved,
the amount circulating can be increased by adjusting the pulley on the
pump and thereby raising the performance.
ATTENTION!
The coolant pressure may, however, not exceed 0.7 bar!
Construction and position of the radiator
The radiator can be assembled away from the generator in a well
ventilated position. Attention must be paid that the radiator emission
direction is completely free of obstruction. Turbulence is to be avoided.
There is often a clash between the streamline appearance of the chassis
and the technical requirements.
The radiator can be installed (vertically) or (horizontally). Consideration
must be given to the fact that air is drawn in via a fan motor.
The best result is achieved if the radiator is fitted vertically on the vehicle
roof.
