Auswirkung einer länger andauernden Überlastung des
Generators auf den Stellmotor des Drehzahlverstellers:
Wenn der Generator überlastet wird, sinkt die Spannung aufgrund der
nicht mehr ausreichenden Motorleistung unter den Sollwert. Der Stell-
motor steht dabei am oberen Anschlag und versucht den Dieselmotor
weiter hochzuregeln. Eine interne Regelung begrenzt dabei zwar die
Stromzufuhr für den Stellmotor, trotzdem kann aber eine lang andau-
ernde Überlastung dazu führen, das die Wicklung des Stellmotors
beschädigt wird. (Wicklungsschluss). Der Motor wird dabei nicht un-
bedingt funktionsunfähig sondern es kann vorkommen, dass nur das
Drehmoment (die Kraft) des Stellmotors schwächer wird mit der Folge,
dass die Drehzahlspindel nicht mehr aus allen Positionen einwandfrei
gedreht werden kann. Dies wirkt sich dadurch aus, dass die Spannung
des Generators nicht mehr gut geregelt oder zeitweise gar nicht mehr
geregelt wird.
Falls Sie an Ihrem Aggregat beobachten, dass der Stellmotor
die Spindel manchmal nicht einwandfrei läuft, muss zuerst
geprüft werden, ob das Aggregat zumindest zeitweise nach-
haltig überlastet worden ist und ob dadurch die interne Wick-
lung des Stellmotors beschädigt wurde. Der Stellmotor muss
dann ausgewechselt werden.
Wenn sich der Stellmotor für die Drehzahlregelung gar nicht mehr dreht,
muss zuerst die elektrische Sicherung auf der Steuerplatine überprüft
werden.

Eine Überlastung kann zwar den eigentlichen Generator nicht beschä-
digen, da die Wicklung Überlast- und Kurzschlusssicher ist, in der Peri-
pherie sind aber immer Schäden möglich. Dies gilt insbesondere für die
angeschlossenen Verbraucher, welche beim Betrieb mit zu geringer
Spannung leicht beschädigt werden können.

Effects of a longer overload of the generator to the servo-
motor of the rev adjustment:
If the generator is overloaded the voltage falls on account of a not
adequate motor power under the nominal value. The servo-motor stays
at the upper keystroke and tries to rev up the diesel engine. An internal
regulation limits the current to the servo-motor, nevertheless a longer
overload can damage the winding of the servo-motor. (short of the
winding). The motor gets not strictly inoperative but it can happen that
the torque (the force) of the servo-motor is getting weak. This has the
consecuence that the rev spindle can not be turned to all positions
faultless. Therefore the voltage of the generator is regulated not good
or sometimes not at all.
If you can watch that the spindle of the servo-motor doesn´t
run faultless, check first if the aggregate was overloaded for
a short time and if thereby the winding of the servo-motor
was damaged. Then the servo-motor has to be changed.
Check firstly the electrical fuse on the control printed circuit board if the
servo-motor will not turn at all.
An overload can not damage the generator because the winding is
overload- and short-circuit safety. But damages are possible in the
periphery. Especially connected consumers are endangered because
a lower voltage can damage them by order.
