3.5 FEHLERTABELLE

GENERATORSPANNUNG IST ZU NIEDRIG
Wenn der Generator weniger als 200V bei 50Hz (bzw. 100V bei 60Hz)
abgibt, (wir reden hierbei von "Unterspannung"), so kann das verschie-
dene Ursachen haben.
Ursache:
Der Generator ist überlastet.
Abhilfe:
Verbraucher teilweise abschalten.
Ursache:
Der Motor läuft nicht mit seiner vollen Nenndrehzahl.
Abhilfe:
Siehe unter "Motorstörungen".
Ursache:
Unterspannung wegen Kondensatordefekt.
Abhilfe:
Kondensator prüfen, ggfls. erneuern.
GENERATOR GIBT "ÜBERSPANNUNG" AB (MEHR ALS 240V-50Hz
/ 135V-60Hz)
Wenn der Motor mehr als 240V abgibt (wir reden hierbei von "Über-
spannung"), so kann das folgende Ursachen haben:
Ursache:
Übererregung durch falsche Kondensatoren.
Abhilfe:
Kondensatorsatz prüfen, ggfls. durch richtige Bestückung ersetzen.
Ursache:
Der Motor läuft mit falscher Motordrehzahl.
Abhilfe:
Motordrehzahl mit Drehzahlmesser oder Frequenzmesser prüfen,
richtige Drehzahl (im Leerlauf 3120 UpM bei 50Hz bzw. 3720 UpM bei
60Hz) einstellen. Falls vorhanden, ESC bzw. VCS Steuerung überprü-
fen.
GENERATOR GIBT UNTERSCHIEDLICH WECHSELNDE SPANNUNG
AB
Ursache:
1. Eine Störung bzw. ein Defekt auf der Verbraucherseite.
2. Eine Störung am Motor.
Abhilfe:
1. Prüfen, ob der Strombedarf der Verbraucher schwankt.
2. Siehe unter "Motor läuft unregelmäßig".
ELEKTROMOTOR 120V-60Hz / 231V-50Hz STARTET NICHT
Ursache:
Wenn ein Elektromotor von 120V-60Hz oder 231V-50Hz nicht mit dem
Generator gestartet werden kann, so liegt die Ursache meistens darin,
daß der Elektromotor einen zu hohen Anlaufstrom benötigt.
Abhilfe:
Hier ist zunächst zu prüfen, wieviel Anlaufstrom vom Elektromotor
benötigt wird (möglichst auf 380V umstellen).
Ggfls. kann hier Abhilfe dadurch geschaffen werden, daß verstärkte
Kondensatoren oder sogenannte "Sanftanlauf-Schaltungen" verwen-
det werden. (Siehe Anhang G)
Beim Hersteller oder einer Panda Vertretung nachfragen.

TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE

GENERATOR OUTPUT VOLTAGE TOO LOW
For 50Hz versions: less than 200V
For 60Hz versions: less than 100V
Cause:
Generator is overloaded.
Solution:
Reduce the electrical load.
(Switch off consumers)
Cause:
Motor is not reaching the rated rpm.
Solution:
Refer to "motor faults" section.
Cause:
Defective capacitor(s).
Solution:
Check capacitors and replace if necessary.
GENERATOR VOLTAGE TOO HIGH (MORE THAN 240V-50Hz / 135V-
60Hz)
If the generator is providing excessively high voltage, the following
potential causes should be investigated:
Cause:
Over-energizing due to wrong capacitors.
Solution:
Check capacitors type and replace if necessary.
Cause:
Motor is running too fast (rpm too high).
Solution:
Check motor speed with rpm-meter or frequency meter and adjust to
proper speed under "zero" electrical load: (3120 rpm-50Hz / 3720 rpm-
60Hz) Inspect ESC or VCS Systems if installed.
GENERATOR VOLTAGE FLUCTUATES
Cause:
1. Disturbances on the electrical system/user side.
2. Motor disturbances.
Solution:
1. Check if electrical load is fluctuating.
2. Refer to section: "Motor runs irregular".
GENERATOR NOT ABLE TO START ELECTRIC MOTOR
Cause:
If the generator is unable supply enough power to start an electric motor
(120V-60Hz or 231V-50Hz), it is usually because the motor draws too
much current during starting process.
Solution:
Check the motor's current draw required for starting (switch to 380V
if possible).
This could be remedied by providing stronger capacitors or installing
an optional "Easy Start Booster Set". (See App. G)
Enquire at your nearest Panda dealer or directly at the manufacturer.
