Cut out the template shown in the Appendix, place on the
mudflap, apply the contour and cut out.
If necessary, make recesses in the mudflap for the apron
contour; fix mudflap 300 mm from the tyre on the caravan
floor.

Installing the drive elements

The chassis must be free from rust, grease and coarse
contamination. There must be no damage in the vicinity of
the wheel suspension.
The wheels and tyres installed on the caravan must be the
same size and design and be inflated to the manufacturer's
specifications.
Take all components out of the packaging and set them out
on the ground.
Before commencing installation, remove the cable ties
and the cardboard blanks from the mounting set.

To ensure the validity of the type approval (ABE), the
type plates (f) must be on the left and right of the
carrier system.

Mark the centre of the connection pipe. Loosely put together
the drive units with the connection pipe.
Do not screw in the set screws (g) in the scope of
delivery yet.

Place the drive units with connection pipe and mounting set
(b) on the chassis and tighten with the two screws (c) such
that shifting on the frame is only just possible.
The gripper (a) must lie fully on the chassis (e) and be
pushed as far as possible towards the vertical flank (d).

Position the drive rollers such that they are located roughly at
the height of the wheel hub/wheel centre.
