Connecting the battery

Incorrect connection of the battery will lead to a defect
in the control unit.
Connect the fuse in the positive line (125 A) near the
positive terminal.
Liquid electrolyte batteries must be assembled in a separate
box with ventilation facing outwards. The fuse in the positive
line must be connected outside the box. A separate box is not
required for gel and AGM batteries. Observe the installation
requirements of the battery manufacturer.
The battery connector cables must be laid separately until
after the fuse in the positive line.

Figure 38
Route the battery connector cables (only use the Truma
original cables included in the scope of delivery) to the control
unit and firmly secure using the supplied clips and screws.
The battery connector cables must not be extended.
They must be routed separate from the motor cables
and must not run over the control unit.
Route the battery connector cables such that they cannot
rub (particularly at lead-throughs in metal walls). Use suitable
lead-through bushings to protect the cables from being
damaged. Connect the battery connector cables at the battery
terminals present (red = positive, black = negative).
