Position the aerial of the control unit to enable as
disruption-free a remote connection as possible (e.g. not
housed in metal or in the vicinity of other electrical equipment).
When selecting the installation location of the control
unit, bear in mind that a battery cut-off switch also still
needs to be installed. See "Connecting the battery cut-off
switch" on page 19.
The Mover is only suitable for connection to 12 V batteries
(direct voltage)!
The electrical installation must comply with the technical
and administrative regulations of the respective country of
use (e.g. EN 1648-1). National regulations and rules must
be followed.
Two high-performance cables for the drive motor (6 mm²)
are pre-assembled on each drive unit. Mark the respective
motor connecting cables (motor A/B – also see connecting
diagram) and provisionally route on the caravan floor to the
intended installation location of the control unit. A suitable
location for the control unit is, for example, a bed storage
box in the immediate vicinity of the manoeuvring system
with a minimum distance from the battery of 40 cm.
The control unit must not be in a metal housing.
Install the control unit at the intended location and secure
with the supplied chipboard screws (5 x 16).
At a distance of approx. 150 mm from the terminal block of
the control unit, mark a Ø 25 mm hole for the lead-through of
the cable harnesses on the caravan floor.
Before drilling, look out underneath for any frame parts,
tanks or lines for gas, water or power!
Drill the hole, feed the cables through the caravan floor to the
control unit and route such that they cannot rub (particularly
at lead-throughs in metal walls). Use the supplied protection
pipes to prevent the cables from being damaged.
The drive motors move during engagement
and disengagement. To compensate, secure the
cables loosely with a little play in this area to prevent the
cables from stretching. No cable must be routed over the
control unit!
Use the supplied clips and screws to secure the cabling to
the chassis/underbody.
Use plastic bodywork sealant to seal the hole in the caravan
floor.

Connecting diagram

The battery and the drive motors must be connected
(in accordance with the connecting diagram) in the
following sequence: nut, ring eyelet, connector cable,
ring eyelet, nut (torque = 6 Nm).
