Device description

4.1

Intended use

With ACC 200 an ACC sensor developed in a vehicle (sen-
sor for automatic distance control on the road) can be
checked and tested in the workshop (under similar con-
ditions to roads). The built-in wheel laser diode modules
are to be used solely for the testing and installation of ACC
sensors. Any other application is not permitted.

Test set-up

In the overview drawing, (Fig. 1) the components of
ACC 200 are shown. In the following section, the indi-
vidual components are separately shown, their function
clarified and the operating elements described.

The wheel laser is necessary for the horizontal and vertical
adjustment of the mirror.

The installation equipment is needed for the determina-
tion of the drive axis and the coarse and fine setting of
the ACC sensor.

The tension spring (fig. 4, item. 9) must be hooked
on the use of ACC 200. The tension spring guaran-
tees that the mirror unit always clips into the feed of
the latch equipment.

adjustment of the mirror, a risk of crushing
either hands or feet exists due to the weight of
the mirror unit.
