Rail mounting (optional accessories)

Danger of tripping....danger from protruding
rails!
Heightened danger of tripping exists with test
and installation work.

Place specific marking and warning signs in
the working area.
!
Before the mounting of the rail, check the support
surface and the required flatness.

Fix rail with attached six sided bolts and plugs to the
work place floor.
!
On the mounting of the rail, ensure that the rail is
not placed under stress by an incorrectly placed
plug.
Finally the precision of the rail must be checked in the
following way (see fig. 9):
1. Place the check angle on the right end of the rail.
2. Place the wheel laser in front of the right end of the rail.
3. Switch on the wheel laser.
Never look directly at the laser source!
4. So orientate the wheel laser with the help of a base,
that the laser beam on both sides meets the rail at
the vertical slot of the control angle.
5. Move and check the control angle on the rail to ensure
the point of the laser beam is visible over the entire
length of the rail to the left and right of the slot from
the control angle.

The maximum permitted deviation in the precision
of the rail amounts to 0.6 mm!

If the laser beam is no longer visible to the left and
right of the slit of the control angle, the maximum
permitted deviation in precision of the rail has been
exceeded.

With an unpermitted deviation, please orientate the
rail again. For this, loosen the six sided screw, then
screw down the rail again and check again with the
control angle.

If the rail is further under impermissible tension, new
drillings for the plugs must be made.

Please put corresponding marking on the location
surface for maintaining the correct distance of the
vehicle to the rail.

Pay attention to the distance from the mirror to the
front edge ACC sensor of 120 cm ±5 cm.
