6. Maintenance instructions
6.1 Battery charging
Attention!
Use only the supplied charger!
To protect the battery pack against exhaustive
discharge, the error message [ LoBat !] is
displayed at a battery voltage of around 4.75 V.
Connect up the mains charger immediately.
If the charger is not connected the digital
pressure gage will automatically switch off.
When the charger is connected charging starts automatically.
A full charge takes around 8 hours.
- Pressure gage switched off:
Display shows state of charge
[ Chrg–> XX% ]
- Pressure gage switched on, no sensor
connected:
Display shows [ NoSensor ]
6.2 Cleaning the throttling pin and throttling port of the pressure pickup module
Clean the throttling port (1) and throttling pin (2) as
necessary, particularly when the pressure pickup
module has not been used for a lengthy period of
time. Gumming due to fuel residues may clog the
narrow gap between the throttling port and the pin,
and so produce incorrect measurement results!
Cleaning:
- Detach the container, screw out the throttling pin.
- Blow compressed air through the throttling port by
way of the connection (3) (see arrows in picture).
- Check the throttling pin for particle deposits and
gumming, and clean it with clean diesel fuel as
necessary.
- Screw the throttling pin back in.
Tightening torque: 15 Nm
