The Send Msg sub-menu is displayed.
Editing, Storing, and Sending a New Message
1. Scroll to 1 New and press Ok. An empty screen will open.
You are allowed to type/edit your message using the
keypad. Refer to "Editing the Text" on page 16.
2. Press Optns and scroll to your
selection:
• Scroll to Send and press Ok.
• If set up by your Service Provider
you have the option to send the
message to a private number or a
talkgroup.
• Otherwise select the mail recipient of your choice by
scrolling through the address list (see page 77) or
enter the address directly.
Press Send or PTT or
display will show one of the following delivery reports:
Message Delivered — to indicate that the message
was successfully sent and received.
Message Failed — the message was not received.
